I opted to go to fiesta laundry on south van ness rather than driving to the suburbs. I'm already questioning this decision. keep in mind I've only been here for 5 minutes.

some items of interest:

there is a 5 year old sitting next to me who is screaming at me through my headphones. apparently she "HAS COOKIES" and is super loudly happy about it. I mean. I'm happy FOR her, but I don't really feel like talking about it. I can't exactly explain that to her.

also. there is an unattended baby in a stroller. it's crying. I keep waiting for someone to care. no one seems to even own this baby.

I'm much more likely to take a chance right now and land on my feet. I've taken giant leaps of faith in the past ten years and have gotten stronger with every ending or transition.

there is no rush. I can take my time and practice with small leaps until I believe in myself enough. I can also work on being patient and waiting for someone else to be the one to act.

this way I can observe the natural flow rather than creating an artificial one that I then question later, which usually leads to me talking myself out of something with real potential.
